For my Measure Your World Project I chose to find the volume of a soccer ball. I wanted to find the volume of a soccer ball because I really enjoy soccer and it would be fun to find the volume of it. I didn't want to be in a group for this project because I felt that I could be doing my own description, reflection and math by myself. I ended up getting help from peers. My original plan was to find the volume of the pentagons within the soccer ball. It was a little more complicated than the actual ball. Last minute I decided to stick to finding the volume of the ball.
The equation I used to do the math was V= 4/3 pie times radius squared . I found the measurement of the whole ball by wrapping string around it and
